We are pleased to say that we have let the Riverside Cafe in Bell Walk, Uckfield to two Italian brothers who are going to open an Italian restaurant.


One of the brothers used to work as a chef in the former Luna Restaurant, now The Picture House Restaurant, and therefore does have experience of the potential in Uckfield. Supporting Sussex Hospices

Lawson Commercial have been supporters the Friends of Sussex Hospices for many years and this week partners Chris and Julia Lawson attended a fund raising function at the home of well known crime author Peter James. He was host to a lamb spit roast in a marque in his garden just north of Brighton which was attended by some 250 people.


It was a lively evening with music and a Hunt the Body murder competition. Chris met up with a number of former colleagues from his days in Brighton working for what is now Stiles Harold Williams. In particular he caught up with his former boss Robert Stiles seen here chatting to Peter James, the two being apparently close friends who went to school together.
